that Tieline Technology, the long-established Australian manufacturer
of high-performance POTS/ISDN/IP audio codec equipment for
professional broadcast applications, has licensed the Enhanced

for deployment in a new range of advanced AoIP codecs scheduled
to launch in early 2010.
APTX now licenses its high-performance Enhanced apt-X audio
codec to almost every broadcast OEM equipment manufacturer
providing hardware for audio-over-IP, including APT, AVT,
Harris, Mandozzi, MAYAH, MDOUK, Prodys, and Pulsecom, and

of the licensing deal, Darren Levy of Tieline said: Were
very happy to have secured the inclusion of Enhanced apt-X
technology in our upcoming new range of G5 STL audio codecs.
The G5 STL codecs are currently in development and test, and
will be launched to market early 2010. Enhanced apt-X is beyond
doubt the gold standard for high-quality audio STL and distribution
and we look forward to working with team APTX.

for remote broadcast over difficult networks where theres
various QoS issues. APTX has accumulated world-class expertise
in both hardware and software applications involving Audio-over-IP.
